Job Title:Senior Network Engineer

Location:Princeton,NJ

Travel:25%

Job description:
• Responsible for all network activities like installations, upgrades, migration, incident, performance tuning activities, reporting and patching etc.
• Well versed in Switching, Routing and network equipment
• Able to configure and troubleshooting of Layer2 protocols, such as: VLAN, Private VLANS, VTP, STP, DTP, Trunking, Stacking, Etherchannel, DOT1Q, SVI etc.
• Able to configure and troubleshooting of Layer3 Protocols such as: BGP, OSPF, Static Routing, High Availability Protocols(HSRP,VRRP,GLBP), Floating Static Routing, Failover etc.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support for IPv4, NTP, ACLs, Route-map, Prefix-Lists, PBR, AAA, TACAS, RADIUS, CEF, SLA, TRACK, SNMP, EEM, Syslog, Flow-export.
• Router access control management
• Fault management of routers and switches
• Corrective actions to resolve faults to ensure high network uptime
• Troubleshooting and debugging of incidents and use of Wireshark, Putty
• Deploy monitoring tools for identifying problem areas and early rectifications if require.
• Perform IOS/firmware upgrades
 Provide troubleshooting support for Internet, LTE, EPL and MPLS

Required Skills:
• The Network Support Specialist will have a bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience, an associate’s degree with 4 years of related experience, or 6 years related experience in Routing & Switching with a valid CCNA or higher certification
• Experience in Cisco Routers and switches /Routing protocols/BGP/OSPF/Switching/Stack Switches
• Knowledge in Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls
• Knowledge in Aruba Wireless Controller and Clear Pass
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
