POSITION PURPOSE:

Casa Cipriani is seeking a hospitality focused and organized individual to join our team as an Event Sales Manager. The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and profitability by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of events. This role involves both sales and event management, requiring a dynamic individual who can balance customer needs with company goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Develop tailored event proposals and quotations based on client requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings as necessary.
  • Work closely with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff to manage logistics.
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for events.
  • Track sales targets and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPIERENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in event sales, event management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Proficiency In Triple seat.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the hotel’s needs.
  • Ability to lift and carry event materials and equipment.
  • Ability to move around event venues, including navigating stairs and uneven surfaces.
