DSV, a leading logistics company operating in 80 countries with over 75,000 employees, is undergoing a digital transformation that affects its operational systems landscape, reporting, and analytics components. To support this transformation, the Centre of Insight and Analytics (CIA) in Global Finance is seeking a Manager / Technical Product Owner to lead our team's activities in the business intelligence (BI) space. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of our analysts and developers to define, scope, and deliver epics and user stories related to BI projects. You will also be expected to take an active role in driving and potentially developing tasks and user stories by yourself.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders, business analysts and developers to define, scope, and prioritize and user stories related to BI projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all project deliverables are completed to the required standard
  • Manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality deliverables
  • Manage project risks and issues, working with stakeholders to mitigate or resolve them as necessary
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and executive management as required
  • Ensure that all project documentation is completed and maintained to a high standard
  • Ensure the team is aligned with project goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the team to implement changes where appropriate

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical delivery or project management in BI
  • Experience in managing a team of experts
  • Experience managing Agile projects and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Hands on experience with Relational SQL Databases, Analysis Services and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools
  • Experience with the Microsoft BI stack preferred (i.e. Azure, MS Dynamics)
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English (written and oral)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
