Position Summary

The Global Project Manager will manage project execution and deliverables within assigned facilities including decision making to ensure both the Company’s & customers best interests are served and protected. The GPM will be covering the territory of Americas, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, or Asia Pacific, reporting the Global Director of Project Management.

Essential Responsibilities

Project Management Leadership:

· Supports quotation stage with project management expertise on significant opportunities, when assigned to a project Pre-Award.

· Manage Project Execution and deliverables within assigned facilities including decision making to ensure both ITT Goulds & customers best interest are protected.

· Leads each site Contract/Project Manager and has a higher authority level with access to other Facility functions and information to meet customer contract needs and expectations.

· Drive on-time performance, cash and profitability on managed projects

· Performs risk analysis and management on own projects by using the company processes

· Uses project management processes, approaches, and tools defined by the Project Management Office.

· Drives recording and sharing of lessons learned on managed projects

Team Leadership:

· Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction throughout project delivery

· Cross-functional leadership of multiple project teams as well as collaboration with Site PMs and Management.

· Manage Order Entry, Engineering & Design Engineering schedules and milestones in support of customer and operational commitments.

· Mentoring and guidance to junior Project Managers.

Position Requirements

Engineering Degree is Must

Experience:

18 to 25 Year of Experience

5 years minimum in Project Management previous experience.

Professional Background: Background in API pumps and large engineered process pumps is ideal. Background in other engineered areas could also be acceptable.

Experience selling and/or procuring motors, mechanical seals and seal systems are a benefit. Also some knowledge of castings and materials such as duplex stainless steels would also be a plus.

Multi-plant, multi-order project management, with responsibility for typically multimillion-dollar complex projects, up to a conglomerated amount of 25M$.

Active partnership with legal and contract management team to protect company from onerous contract terms, undocumented change orders, LDs, suspensions and cancellations, litigation etc.

Partner with Quality Assurance and Legal to identify warranty risks and product liability claims. Identify risks and elevate to QA and Legal in a timely manner.

Working internationally and traveling extensively throughout the region covered.

Representing customer’s best interest within the scope of the contract.

Transparently and regularly communicating with customers on order progress per the requirements of the ‘MPR’ (monthly progress report)

Complies to all local and global project management standards.

Professionally managing cost (margin) and cash (invoicing & debt) issues

Understands direct accountability, and escalates issues as appropriate to protect the interests of both company and customer.
