Position Summary

Interprets assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications to build, calibrate and test electromechanical switches.

Essential Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Adjusts disc springs to required settings.
  • Functionally cycles switches to stabilize components making necessary set ups with a minimum of technical assistance.
  • Checks, synchronizes and tests products using a variety of hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers and pliers) and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gages and dial indicators to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
  • May be required to safety wire parts as necessary according to instructions.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs units needing rework.
  • Occasionally required to drill and install pin per assembly routers.
  • Ordinary care and attention must be exercised to prevent damage of components, tools, and equipment.
  • Ordinary care and attention are required to prevent injury to others due to the operation of high-pressure vessels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in related industry preferred
  • Ability to read pressure gages.
  • Ability to use variety of hand tools and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of basic math.
  • Basic computer program skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • A moderate amount of concentration is required involving coordination of mental processes and physical responses.
  • Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekend hours on an as needed basis.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
