JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Global Operations BPM Support agent supports the WW Operations Compliance team in all aspects of Training, Support and Auditing. Additional tasks include LMS (JAS University) structure and content management.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide extensive support through monitoring and resolving C1 eRequests
  • Act as the subject matter expert on C1 and Global Compliance Rules to Operation users
  • Train specialized classes related to C1’s functionalities and other Operation system related modules.
  • Train, develop Champions and Users to a high level of proficiency and provide additional support when required
  • Maintain and assist to create JAS University ‘s C1, Operation and Compliance contents
  • Create process mapping using Visio as needed
  • Assist Operational Excellence Manager in creating, maintaining and distributing Compliance and Performance reports
  • Analyze Milestone Compliance report and provide suggestion for improvement
  • Perform other tasks as requested to support Global Operation Compliance team’s projects and goals

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage LMS structure and content
  • Initiate and coordinate generation of training videos

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent understanding of JAS Global Processes, Global Business Rules and Operational Procedures
  • Knowledge in freight forwarding, air freight and ocean freight
  • Excellent understanding of C1 functionality and processes
  • Excellent understanding of Milestones and C1’s functionality related to Milestones

Technical/Software

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel, Access
  • Experience on MS Visio and/or other process mapping tools is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiar with PDF and Snagit;
  • Must be comfortable with communication tools such as Skype, ZOOM, BT Conferencing, FaceTime and others.
  • Basic to advanced proficiencies using an LMS

Language

  • Excellent knowledge of oral and written English language. Ability to verbally communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as Business Cases, Project Plans, Business Requirements, User Guides, Training Manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar / pie graphs.

Other

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Teacher/educational or Trainer background is desirable
  • Strong Organizational skills – Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and execute on assigned deliverables.
  • Facilitation skills - ability to solve issues by coordinating across crossfunctional areas.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to work under time pressures.
  • International experience and previous exposure to other cultures would be highly desirable.
  • Able to manage outcomes to timeline.
  • Able to work with in a matrix reporting environment, build and maintain strong relationships with peers, stakeholders and management who will largely be based remotely.
  • Solution driven with the willingness and ability to implement innovative ideas to improve processes and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree in Education, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Communications, International Logistics, or equivalent of education is highly preferred.
  • Business Analysis experience is of advantage o Project Management experience is of advantage
