Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Global Emergency Solutions Specialist will oversee the management and coordination of urgent cargo transportation across a diverse range of commodities, serving all our global industrial verticals and beyond. The primary mode of transport will be airfreight, often requiring seamless integration with pre-carriage and on-forwarding solutions.
In this role, the Specialist must ensure timely quotation, pick up, delivery and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction, requiring a deep understanding of global logistics, airfreight operations, and the capability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The focused products will be “NFO -Next Flight Out”, “OBC – On Board Courier” and “SCH – Small Charter” Solutions.
  • Providing a tailored transportation solution based on the customers’ requirements.
  • Ensure the seamless execution of time-critical airfreight shipments, from initial booking to final delivery, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and client specifications.
  • Continuously track the status of all active shipments to provide real-time updates as well as Pro-Actively identify occurring upcoming issues during the transport chain and pro-actively execute corrective actions to ensure a safe and in-time delivery of the cargo.
  • Employee will act as the primary point of contact towards the customers.
  • Employee will have to prepare and be able to verify all necessary shipping documents, including airwaybills and documents provided by the customer.
  • Although working in a regional function, this position will require a close collaboration with the countries and branches in EU and overseas.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Able to read, write, speak, analyze, and interpret moderate business correspondence in English.

  • Highly skilled & experienced in airfreight operations
  • Strong understanding in logistics, pricing structures and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Capable of resolving issues and challenges quickly and efficiently, maintaining operational integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Exhibits a high level of self-motivation, taking initiative to meet and exceed job expectations without constant supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers, subordinates, and supervisors.
  • Willing and able to work in shifts. (MON-SUN, day time max 0600-2200)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • This role requires the ability to work in and access airfreight-secured environments, in accordance with the regulations of the country where the employee is based.
  • IATA HazMat training will be required and training course will be arranged if not certified at this time.
  • The role requires the employee to meet the conditions of the aviation security programs of the countries covered for the position.
