As a Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the the Asset Management line of business, you lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across technical domains. Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead technology teams in APAC to build the next generation of Asset Management Investment platform
  • Partner closely with APAC business stakeholders in the region to understand requirements in the region across APAC markets.
  • Partner with and influence global stakeholders across business, product and technology teams
  • Contribute to the target state strategy for the Asset Management platform
  • Ensure that the APAC engineering teams adhere to best practices and standard agile processes.
  • Champion the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
  • Actively foster opportunities for cross collaboration and career growth of talents in the region

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 12 years of application development experience
  • 10+ years of experience designing and deploying software used in large enterprises.
  • Practical Public Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud..)
  • Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists
  • Hands on experience of agile methodologies
  • Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talents
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Organization and leadership skills
  • Ability to drive and influence
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
