Job Description

As a Senior Product Associate in Sales & Service Product Enablement in Business Banking, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. You contribute to the team focused on developing solutions which help reduce our reliance on paper and improve critical aspects of the account opening and account maintenance experiences.

You leverage customer and front-line employee feedback and your expertise in product development to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Supports product delivery across the full lifecycle including discovery, requirements gathering, solutioning, design/build and implementation
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Engages with cross-functional partners across the organization to lead, align and maintain productive partnerships
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and development teams to document business requirements, lead scope definition, technical implementation, end-to-end testing, and operational readiness
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines with calmness and composure under pressure
  • Ability to think strategically, innovate and clearly communicate complex ideas
  • Team player with the ability to work productively within a group and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge around risk and controls of a large banking institution and willingness to work within that environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient knowledge of product development life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Expertise in Product development in Agile operating model/scrum team environment
  • Background in analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
  • Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira/Jira Align and organizational/time management skills
