Job Description

Join a team that is delivering strategic data and process transformation in Corporate Finance & Operations, using first class methodologies in program governance, product ownership and project delivery. This role will be responsible for the delivery of various projects across Corporate Finance, managed through an agile framework which allows for a prioritized backlog and interactions with a diverse set of stakeholders across different geographies.

Posting Description:

The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) is accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events. The team also provides a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices.

The FFBA team, is looking for a Vice President who will form part of a high performing team of project and data management professionals focused on delivering strategic automation to various controller groups in Corporate Finance in support of platform modernization and regulatory initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with project leads as well as key stakeholders to set and manage project scope, implementation plan, program plan, timelines, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies while monitoring and recalibrating scope as necessary
  • Lead various project governance forums, including the preparation of high quality Power Point materials
  • Drive end-to-end requirement discussions and develop and deliver plans for successful delivery of change events
  • Lead execution of data quality testing to validate data requirements from upstream sources have been met, in addition to providing data quality support through monitoring of data quality issues and performing root-cause analysis to aid resolution efforts
  • Lead ownership of the creation and ongoing maintenance of the Data Requirements Documents and Model Documentation which will contribute towards the goal of ensuring data is fit for consumption
  • Schedule and coordinate the implementation of new data models in strategic cloud architecture,
  • Influence and communicate with stakeholder (business, operations, technology) relationships

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 7-10+ years of program / project management and product owner experience required, with particular focus in Finance and/or Data space is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with desire to submerge into the detail of a topic, issue or deliverable to understand the underlying concept
  • Self-starter; proven ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
