Job Description

As Executive Director – Targeted Marketing you will lead the creation of acquisition marketing strategies to drive account growth for Home Lending using our targeted marketing channels. Through partnership with sales, product, digital, analytics, technology, execution and risk teams you will build a test and learn roadmap and an execution plan to engage and attract Chase customers to apply for a mortgage through various channels – including, but not limited to, direct mail, email, ATM and Chase-owned digital assets, including the Chase mobile app. You will foster cross-department conversation and alignment on marketing and product roadmaps to support the customer through their lending journey with Chase from awareness and consideration through to account creation. The ultimate goal will be to improve our market share of Chase customers who get a mortgage.

Job Summary

  • Be well versed in formulation of acquisition marketing strategies, aligned with client needs, business goals, execution and forecasted results.
  • Leverages business knowledge to outline goals and KPIs, align priorities to their team and the broader organization and then define and drive the strategic direction.
  • Communicate clear and transparent priorities and goals to guide and motivate others.
  • Has a passion for challenging the status quo and is a true partner across a matrixed organization.
  • Drive a marketing test and learn agenda to better understand audience segments/personas and marketing language across all channels.
  • Create optimization strategies across multiple programs, including creative, targeting, offer, and channel.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret campaign performance metrics and other relevant data to leverage past learnings and inform future strategies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years of relevant marketing experience in a financial services firm or large corporate firm environment, with a strong record of introducing and managing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong Direct Marketing and Digital Marketing skills
  • Self-starter with ability to grasp concepts quickly and collaborate with business partners for information to shape a comprehensive and successful marketing strategy
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills. Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • Highly organized with exceptional ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make data-based recommendations
  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members. Skilled and comfortable at working in a highly matrixed organization with continuously changing priorities
  • Creativity and innovation with a focus on constant measured improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to present to varied and large audiences, including executive updates
  • A leader that people want to follow, who is able to engage a team and develop high performers
