As a Solutions Analyst III in Corporate Sector with in GFT-General Ledger team, you will aid in bridging the gap between product owners, business, operations, and software developers by leveraging your technical fluency and strong analytical reasoning skills. Your responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting business and data flow requirements, translating them into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. Your adaptability and ability to lead through change will enable you to navigate complex situations and manage dependencies effectively. With a strong foundation in data analytics and technical solutions, you will contribute to the development of innovative architecture designs and data-driven insights that guide business decisions. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will ensure clear and concise information exchange with diverse stakeholder audiences, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.

Job responsibilities

  • Elicit and document comprehensive business and data flow requirements by engaging with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
  • Translate complex business requirements into well-structured technical solutions, leveraging data analytics and technical knowledge to optimize system performance and scalability
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain architecture designs, policies, standards, and governance processes that align technology with business strategy
  • Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs
  • SAP FI Consultant / Analyst responsible for designing, building and deploying SAP-based ERP solutions; leading analysis and design in the SAP FI/CO area, often in close cooperation with the client’s finance team; Conducting structured testing internally and with users; Ensuring stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements.
  • Seasoned expertise in application, data, business processes and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • A good understanding of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices
  • Engage in Requirement Analysis and Review
  • Communicate efficiently with the Global team (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work with developers, business analysts, project managers and business users on requirements basis.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
  • 8+ yrs of overall IT experience, with at least 6 years full-cycle SAP FI experience including integration of SAP FI / CO and Special ledger applications.
  • Hands-On Experience in SAP S4 HANA in Finance modules is must.
  • At least 2 Full Life Cycle Implementations/ Roll- Outs experience, and Exhibit good understanding on SAP FI Master data management like GL, Customer, Vendor, Fixed Assets etc.
  • Expert knowledge in FI activities pertaining to General Ledger Accounting & Reporting.
  • Good understanding in Accounts Payable & Account Receivable activities in FI including external integrations for Bank Payments & Customer/Vendor Management
  • Exposure to Special Purpose Ledger (SPL) and New GL Accounting is a must, and good Knowledge on SAP FI backend tables & initial debugging skills is an added advantage.
  • Deep understanding of customizations for FI module
  • Well versed with SAP FI Reporting including customized reports as per business requirements as well as SAP FI Functional Testing (Regression & Non-Regression Testing) for Rollout/Upgrades
  • Exhibit capabilities in writing good Functional Specifications (FSD) for FI related Developments and own the delivery to Business along with the Technical (ABAP) Team
  • Good Exposure in Preparation of Trial Balance, P&L Account and Balance Sheet.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Communicate the understanding of customer concerns and requirements with the internal team to work and resolve gaps/ issues.
  • Providing User Support as per the requirement.
  • Must be able to work with a moderate level of ambiguity.
  • B.E. or equivalent degree in I.T, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with Archiving Methodologies and integration with ILM
  • Should have worked on full life cycle process on SAP FI Business processes.
