Job Summary

As a Fund Servicing Manager, you'll be responsible for the operational management and control of the daily workflow within Fund Accounting operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ownership for publication of accurate and timely NAVs for Asset Managers and Owners.
  • Manage the workflow through the life cycle of any of the Fund Accounting sub functions
  • Operational management and control of the daily workflow within the Fund Accounting team
  • Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planning
  • Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off including client service inquiry resolution, as well as all key metrics are produced as required
  • Provide direction and leadership to the team
  • Provide effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organization
  • Continued review of content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with introduction of new policies and ongoing risk management activities
  • Contribute to the strategic development of Fund Accounting products
  • Managing effective relationship with stakeholders across the locations
  • Talent retention and upgradation of skills through training and targeted hiring.

Required Qualifications:

  • Front-to-back understanding about Asset Manager and Owners business and entire life-cycle Fund Accounting operations
  • Well-versed with Accounting Standards applicable to Asset Managers and Owners
  • Familiarization with taxation rules applicable to Asset Managers.
  • Good understanding about all the investment and derivative products
  • Strong people management skills, ability to lead and motivate managers
  • Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes
  • Strong risk and control awareness, ability to effectively priorities workloads and work to critical deadlines
  • Confident communicator in all mediums to both internal and external clients
  • Strategic thinker, able to review and implement process improvements and automated solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably Chartered Accountant or equivalent with > 12 yrs relevant experience.
