DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Research, design, architect and implement application programming interfaces (APIs). Integrate legacy and modern systems. Ensure resiliency and scalability using modern application frameworks. Architect frameworks to support front-end and back-end software development. Implement efficient code into the overall infrastructure. Design and implement cloud-based solutions for API for Digital applications. Create Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) models for applications. Provide product support of applications through bug fixes, patching, and maintenance. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including: reviewing business requirements; designing technical solutions; software development, testing and implementation; building and deploying cloud native web and batch applications; and, collaborating with a variety of IT professionals and business partners at each phase of the SDLC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Windows; Java; Spring; JMS; MuleSoft; Java Script; JSP; Servlets; jQuery; Ajax; Python; XML; Angular; Node.js; Ant; Maven; Oracle; DB2; SQL; WebSphere; and Junit.
