As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the INFRASTRUCTURE PLATFORMS team, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.

Job responsibilities

• Designs, implementation and execution of complex network hardware and software configurations
• Analyzes problems, designs, develops, and tests code
• Manages , Maintain and Analyze MPLS, MPLS-VPN, ISIS, BGP, OSPF , high end service provider router like CISCO ASR 9000 ,NCS , PE, CE, Route Reflector.
• improves code health and technical standard, by using frameworks that help increase developer and release velocity,
• Works with a team of developers and engineers to evaluate the global Core WAN MPLS Network infrastructure which support Enterprise and Datacenter backbone.
• Works with engineering, project management and support resources to drive business projects to completion.
• Utilizes experience for planning, analysis, process design/implementation and data network design & implementation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands on experience working on TCP/IP routing protocols, MPLS, MPLS-VPN, ISIS, BGP, OSPF , high end service provider router like CISCO ASR 9000 ,NCS , IOS XR/XE, NX-OS, PE, CE, VPN technologies, SDWAN, MACSec, QoS,IPSEC, Quantum key Distribution, Segment Routing (MPLS and IPv6), layer 4-7 switching, Security, QoS, Network Management and Monitoring Software
• Previous experience in the current routing platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Arista, Versa, Open gear
• Knowledge and experience in using below tools Cisco DNA, Arista Cloud Vision, Ansible tower, Python
• A good understanding of working in a Jira workflow environment and Kanban methodologies. A background in the following automation skills using Python, Ansible and Terraform

• Advanced knowledge of available network operating systems, network equipment and networking protocols is essential
• Understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
• Vendor Product testing and certification is desired
• Flexible with working hours due to the nature of the product we engineer
