Manage a portfolio ofreal estate clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contactfor internal and external clients. Build and manage client relationships byadvising them and being responsible for delivering high quality tax service andadvice. Work as part of a cross-functional account team for your clients thatmay cross audit, tax and advisory. Manage and empower teams of taxprofessionals/assistants working on client projects. Help manage risk for KPMGand our clients by understanding the technical tax aspects of various reportingpositions. Manage financial performance of your client engagements includingbilling, collections, and the budget for projects. Advise clients and beresponsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice. Participate inand contribute to market and business activities supporting our practice's HighGrowth Sectors.


WORK SCHEDULE: 40hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)

Must have aMaster's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation,Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 2 yearsof related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent inAccounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, ora related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related workexperience.

Must have an activeConnecticut CPA license.

Of the requiredexperience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Partnership taxexperience in the financial services industry specific to real estate and realestate private equity funds for manager; the taxation of REITs, partnershipsand other flow-through entities; reviewing 1120-REIT and 1065 tax returns,including complex partner allocations; and, applying working knowledge of REITand partnership tax regulations and ASC 740.
