KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Sustainability Reporting to join our Finance & Accounting organization.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the controls subject matter expert (SME) for the Sustainability Reporting team
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of ESG controls, through testing and validation
- Partner and ensure alignment with other control and data integrity and validation groups, including but not limited to internal audit, risk management and external assurance providers
- Develop and provide guidance, training, status reports and other communications to stakeholders and leadership
- Direct a Senior Associate as they conduct control and data testing and validation activities
- Support other strategic work and special projects as requested by the Director, such as researching new regulatory and reporting requirements or assisting with the preparation of the Impact Plan
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in Audit/Internal Audit including experience with developing fundamental control documentation such as process narratives, risk control matrix, and testing documentation
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience in implementing, and managing controls and testing activities
- Experience with ESG/sustainability reporting standards and frameworks, including but not limited to GRI, WEF IBC, GHG Protocol, CDP preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience with developing and providing training and best practices to stakeholders
