KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the day-to-day activities of Information Technology (IT) audit readiness engagements, including system development, package implementation, IT deficiency remediation/validation, PBC response, business process improvement, audit coaching/IT audit liaison support, assessment and accreditation, IT compliance assessments, IT strategy and/or platform reviews for U.S. Federal government clients
  • Evaluate, remediate and validate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle while providing performance management for IT audit readiness staff working on assigned engagements
  • Write and present clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients and document procedures performed and conclusions reached related to projects
  • Support proposal and business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives and developing and presenting proposals
  • Provide oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans and performance management while contributing to industry and regulatory publications, writing professional and thought leadership articles and speaking at related conferences and seminars

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of experience in any of the following areas: IT audit readiness, internal or external IT audit, risk assessment, business process reengineering, Enterprise Resource Planning packages (SAP, Oracle Financials, Hyperion, and Cognos), commonly encountered operating system and database technologies (Windows, UNIX/LINUX, Oracle DB, SQL Server, mainframe [z/OS, RACF, Top Secret Security, DB2, IDMS) and Customer Relationship Management packages (IT security, project management, IT outsourcing, Risk Management Framework, and/or IT strategy); prior U.S. Federal government consulting and supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university; master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, project management and delivery, and business development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to write at a publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management team
  • Able to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Applicant must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance
