We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SVP of LPL Digital Platform to join our team at LPL Financial. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth through the development and management of key partnerships and alliances. Your expertise in business development and platform integration will be instrumental in expanding our market reach and enhancing our client offerings. Essential Functions

  • Defining, socializing, and having ultimate responsibility for the strategy and vision of the NextGen Platform to deliver the most connected experience in the advisor-centered marketplace.
  • Having a clear understanding of the competitive landscape for “end to end” advisor workstations. Understanding trends and applying LPL’s natural differentiators to chart a right to win in the marketplace.
  • Drawing connections between individual product domains and LPL’s value framework to create unique integrations that enhance the commercial appeal of the NextGen System.
  • Defining and maintaining a dynamic view of key advisor journeys, workflows, and tasks to drive the right experience.
  • Develop a comprehensive business case for the NextGen platform, defining and quantifying commercial outcomes for LPL and our clients.
  • Lead and influence the prioritization of investments across individual product domains based on marketplace dynamics and the commercial opportunity for the platform.
  • Building strong relationships and collaborating with internal business partners to serve as the accountable party for the NextGen Platform to milestones, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Effectively leveraging data to track key performance indicators, identify trends and ensure projects and programs align to company priorities.
  • Engaging with leading industry service providers to identify and cultivate potential partnership recommendations.
  • Learning quickly from customer, partner, and prospect feedback, and applying an entrepreneurial mindset to iterate the Platform nimbly.
  • Leading the “go-to-market” strategy working in partnership with Client Success, Business Development, Field Management, Marketing, Product and Technology.


  • Knowledge, experience, and passion for innovative wealth technology.
  • 7+ years’ experience in product strategy; including “all-in-one” advisor technology applications.
  • Experience integrating third-party applications into a cohesive proprietary experience.
  • Deep understanding of the needs of the financial advisor.
  • Team-player with a positive "can-do" attitude, with an ability to both contribute meaningfully individually and develop a motivated team of employees engendered with a results-based orientation.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and business leaders to manage, execute and implement strategies that you designed.
  • Superior organizational skills with an ability to quickly gather and assimilate information.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with a skill in storytelling in a presentation.
  • Desire to be part of an entrepreneurial team and an ability to succeed within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, grounded in tangible results.
  • Strong gravitas and executive presence with strong oral, written and listening skills with an ability to adapt to different audiences, including senior internal leadership and influential external stakeholders.

Pay Range:


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
