Job Overview:
Our team is actively seeking a motivated and talented Lead SDET who is passionate about testing software through automation. You will be part of an inter-disciplinary team of hardware, firmware, software, system, and test engineers to develop and integrate cutting-edge technologies for Financial Services Company building E2E automation solutions connecting Advisor Platform, Investor Platform and Teammates. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to understand features, develop and automate test cases, improve product quality and shorten release time from dev to production.
Responsibilities:
Actively Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and lead where applicable – PI Planning , Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Defect Review, Sprint Demo, Restrospectives etc.
Actively participate in story grooming, analyze and understand user story acceptance criteria
Develop and execute -Test plan , test cases based on the user stories and ensure proper test coverage
Perform in sprint testing, service/API testing, Integration / E2E testing, regression final build certification and release day testing
Automating tests using internal and open source tools & infrastructure
Reviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionality
Working with software engineers to understand product architecture, integrations and features
Creating and maintaining data scenarios to support test plans and test cases
Analyzing test results, being a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
Documenting, tracking bugs to closure and reports on Project status to stake holders
Working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software
Ability to write complex queries to perform data validation
Serves as SME for one or more functional areas , acts as technology ambassador for automation and building efficient solutions
Leads process, technology improvement efforts, KPIs/OKRs with in quality engineering team and larger part of organization to improve engineer productivity, Speed and Quality.

Requirements:
6+ years of experience as a Developer or QA Engineer or SDET working in Agile scrum teams
Hands on experience with CI /CD and have leveraged / implemented CI/CD pipelines
Hands on programming/development experience in one of the programming languages – C#, Java, JavaScript or .Net and automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG etc
Hands on experience with test processes, test methodologies, test strategy, test plan and test case design & execution.
Hands on experience with Web services Testing and automation development
Experience with SQL and ability to understand/write complex SQL queries

Preferences:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Experience with security testing – SAST and DAST and tools
Experience with Accessibility Testing
Experience with AWS / cloud infrastructure
Financial Industry experience
Pay Range:
$101,480-$152,220/year
