Job Overview:

As a Project Business Coordinator, you will work closely with the project leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects, gather, and document project requirements, and actively engage with team and clients to address during the whole project lifecycle. You will organize and communicate details related to a specific assignment or task while serving as an interface between insurance team members and managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project /portfolio managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets, and timeframes for projects.

  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information

  • Analyze risks, opportunities, and blockers. Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.

  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports

  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and document clear and detailed business requirements.

  • Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle

  • Be the trusted technical advisor for the insurance team managing the systems and underlying technology roadmap, but you will also be their “technology thinker”, constantly looking at ways to innovate and challenge existing methods/technologies and ways of doing things.

  • A focus on continuous improvement and driving initiatives that deliver value such as integration and automation

  • Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • Proven 5+ years of work experience as a project manager, business analysis and/or a similar role

  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery

  • Must have a background in working as a business-technology liaison, as well as strong client facing skills

  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans

  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

Preferences:

  • Experience with the insurance domain is highly desirable

  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner


Pay Range:

$79,700.00 - $132,800.00


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
