About the Opportunity

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

Performs basic or applied research in an area of considerable scope and complexity. Plans independent research and analyzes and publishes the results. Prepares grant proposals. Provides functional and administrative supervision over supporting research staff and transfers technical and statistical expertise. Responsible for purchasing and budget administration. Attends meetings and may present research.


Qualifications:

Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; progressively more responsible experience that demonstrates the ability to plan and execute research; previous supervisory experience.

Need: Single cell analysis, microfluidics and 3D tissue-chip cultures

Konry lab is focused on dynamic analysis of cellular functional phenotype to dissect the variability in immune and cancer cell responses to therapies. We are inviting applications for a postdoctoral position to work on cell-cell interactions, single cell functional studies and omic analysis in tissue chip format, and ultra-fast novel diagnostic tools.

We are looking for a highly motivated bioengineers, with an interest in single cell and tissue- chip research as well as technological and assay development. Candidates must have recently obtained a Ph.D. in a relevant field and should have experience with microfluidics, immunology,nucleic acid biochemistry and/or diagnostic tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required. Experience with next-gen sequencing, flow cytometry, confocal imaging, and computational analysis are preferable.
