About the Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Academic Integration & Planning, the Coordinator will be a vital member of the Academic Integration & Planning Team, supporting First-Year Global and Mobility programs. The Coordinator will play a key role in survey administration, data management, records keeping, and general operations, ensuring that academic integration and planning processes are streamlined and effective.

The Academic Integration & Planning Team is a geographically distributed team working remotely with occasional need to be on the main NU Boston campus and other NU network campuses. You are expected to be on the Boston campus 1-2 times per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Support grade entry and course mapping processes for global experience programs.
  • Manage data entry projects related to course registration, student records, and program logistics.
  • Assist with troubleshooting record discrepancies and follow up on transcript issues to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Collect, track, and maintain key documents from external stakeholders, including network campuses and international partners.
  • Monitor document submissions, track pending items, and provide regular updates to the team.
  • Support operational tasks, including project tracking and coordination of program-related activities.
  • Manage timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure smooth operation of academic integration initiatives.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for student and parent inquiries; directing or escalating concerns to appropriate team members within the Academic Integration & Planning team.
  • Field student inquiries regarding adding/dropping courses, course requirements, and related academic matters. Manage a shared inbox or platform for processing add/drop requests, ensuring an efficient and organized workflow.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of applicable work experience, preferably in higher education, data management, project management, or program coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Qualtrics and experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data in a clear and strategic manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on teams and as an independent contributor.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and operational support.
