Location: Northwestern Mutual Downtown Salt Lake City Office – 111 E Broadway, Ste. 1400 Salt Lake City, UT 84111
Business Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch

Salary Range: $55k-$60k per year, plus ~$12K-$15K bonus potential
Job Description
Campus Recruiting provides support for all Internship recruiting and leads all online presence for the internship program in the Northwestern Mutual Salt Lake City office. This position involves performing functions that allow the leadership team to efficiently attract, recruit, select, and train college financial representatives. The Campus Recruiter has an overall understanding of the recruitment, selection, and training process. They will be expected to have a steady presence online, source and produce leads, manage campus activities, interview and track candidates through established processes and help with needed projects throughout the year. This position requires a high degree of organization, consistency, communication with a wide range of individuals and follow-through.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Online Presence:
- Manages all online presence for the internship program
- Reviews/tracks resumes from Handshake, Indeed, NM.com, LinkedIn, etc.
- Sourcing both traditional interns and post graduate interns
- Keeps up on a regular job posting for the University of Utah, Westminster, Ensign College and Salt Lake Community College Campus’
- Manages all events on campus (career fairs, info sessions, networking, etc.)
- Active presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
Recruiting:
- Participate in campus activities and events
- Outreach to potential candidates daily to set up initial interviews or prospecting meetings
- Maintaining a consistent calendar of initial interviews according to peak months
- Build relationships with staff, advisors, and interns throughout the Provo office
- Send appropriate communication to candidates for each step of the selection
- Coordinate leadership team to assure campus events and interviews run smoothly
- Track personal recruiting activity & prepare reports as directed by the Managing Director
- Maintain internship recruiting records in Bullhorn software
- Entering Service Request into Bullhorn when candidate accepts
- Communicating acceptance of candidate to respective leadership team
Administrative & Sign on Coordinator Duties
- Coordinate details of office set up for new interns when directed (computers, working areas, etc.)
- Coordinate and execute any recruiting promotions/campaigns (online publicity, email updates, outreach on campus etc.)
- Maintain supply of all internship recruiting materials & kits
- Any needed side projects for internship assigned by Director of Internship Development
- Help coordinate logistics for Intern trainings including room set-up, lunches, and technology, all instructor and student materials
Qualification Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a member of interorganizational teams
- Administrative support experience including scheduling, logistics and computer skills
- Previous involvement in athletics, clubs and/or community organizations a plus
- Demonstrated organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and time management skills
