Savino Del Bene is looking for a Finance & Administration Manager for Sweden, based in our Gothenburg branch.
Role goals:
The role is responsible for accounting operations required for month-end closing (intercompany, cash reconciliation, etc.) according to the business deadlines and following the Group policies.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· To manage the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, AP/AR, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities as required by the law and internal guidelines.
· To reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with the local Finance & Administration Team, Country Manager, and HQs functions when requested
· To perform Intercompany reconciliation and cash compensation
· To manage AON insurance invoices
· To look after cash management activities
· To register invoices from local and foreign suppliers
· To collect and solicit payments for local and foreign customers
· To process payments to and from external suppliers
· To produce financial reporting
· To produce timely accurate fiscal and financial reports and analyses on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis to support management decisions and presentations and ensure the branch office's financial health and profitable growth.
· To provide recommendations and improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures, supporting Company strategy and best practices
· To work on transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing), payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and maintaining work papers
· Analysis and data visualization, budgeting, and forecasting
· Monitor changes in financial and administrative regulations
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Degree in Administration, Accounting, or a similar bachelor’s degree
· Experience (3+ years) in similar roles. Working experience in an international environment
· Knowledge of local fiscal regulation (VAT withholding tax, reverse charge, corporate taxes, etc.)
· Experience with IFRS/ GAAP accounting principles, laws & and regulations.
· Ability to understand procedures/ processes quickly and adhere to them accurately
· IT skills required to complete everyday operational duties with little supervision
· Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
· Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel). / SAP
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· It is a clear requirement that the successful candidate is fully capable to speak and read Swedish fluently as this position includes direct communication with different Swedish authorities
· Proficiency in the English language.
· Ability to understand procedures/processes quickly and adhere to them accurately.
· IT skills required to complete everyday operational duties.
· Flexible approach with a strong team spirit.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Ability to solve problems and work independently.
