The Ocean Freight Senior Operation Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of ocean freight shipments, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery. This role requires a thorough understanding of ocean freight logistics, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle complex shipments and issues. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in ocean freight operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What Awaits You, What Will Be Your Responsibilities?

• Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments from origin to destination.
• Ensure all shipping activities comply with international shipping regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or issues that arise.
• Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding ocean freight operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and effectively.
• Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement new procedu res and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to streamline operations.
• Provide recommendations to senior management based on analysis and insights.

What Will Be The Qualifications We Expect From You?

• Bachelor Degree (Preferably Logistics)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ocean freight operations, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics company.
• Good command of English
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes, including ınco terms, customs regulations, and import documentation requirements.
• Office programs user experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
