Savino Del Bene is looking for a Sales Manager for the sales team in its Finland subsidiary.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop commercial relationships with clients in the portfolio by producing and widening new business within Savino Del Bene Finland.
  • Create and retain said Portfolio with commercial actions based on goals, markets, and selected clients, with specific contacts or addresses by any available means, telephone, digital or other. This may include arranging appointments, and visits directly to clients, with special emphasis on establishing and maintaining a close professional relationship with them.
  • Prepare and present quotations, bids, and formal presentations to current and potential clients.
  • Request the services that customers require directly and/or through the Pricing Department. These may include international transportation of Import or Export cargo by Sea, Air, Land, Distribution and Storage, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
  • Meet goals planned and proposed by the company.
  • Develop and maintain constant and assertive communication with the Departments of Operations, Customer Service, and other areas, as well as with offices of the global network of Savino del Bene.
  • Assist the Finance Department in monitoring account receivables related to specific clients when necessary.

Skills and experience required:

  • 5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and logistics sales, preferably if you have a portfolio.
  • Studies such as Foreign Trade, Customs, or similar, as a bachelor's or a master's degree.
  • Demonstrate aptitudes and skills of speaking, and written communication in Finnish and English for the development of Sales and Customer Service.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate know-how and good practices, to work effectively.
  • Skills to follow instructions, be organized, know how to prioritize, and exchange with departments of different specialties to effectively monitor active and potential customers.
  • Skills to work with deadlines, targets, and conditions with variable workloads.
  • Master the Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Driver’s license and availability to move within the country, mainly focused on commercial interest areas. It might include trips abroad.
