General Summary:

As an ICT BI and Backend Data Analyst, you will be responsible for Business Intelligence reporting tools and backend applications supporting our plant operations. Your tasks consist on optimizing inventory management processes, supporting the business needs for BI and reporting, helping the ICT function to take care and change legacy custom business apps. This role involves analyzing data, generating insights, interacting with several business functions and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data within the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective programming, contributing to overall business success. A smart, objective-oriented mindset and proactive approach is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BI Reporting:
   1. Design and generate BI reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
   2. Provide regular updates on inventory performance and highlight areas for improvement.
   3. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in reporting.
2. Backend Data Analysis:
   1. Utilize BI tools to analyze historical and current inventory data.
   2. Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data for analysis.
   3. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in inventory-related datasets.
   4. Support the business for legacy applications maintenance or developing new applications in Python, R or
   5. Collaborate with the replenishment team to establish and optimize inventory replenishment strategies.
   6. Recommend improvements based on data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
   7. Monitor and adjust reorder points, safety stock levels, and lead times as needed.
3. System Integration:
   1. Work closely with IT teams to integrate BI solutions and SQL/Python-based tools with existing systems.
   2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data integration or system compatibility.
4. Process Optimization:
   1. Identify opportunities for process improvement in the replenishment workflow.
   2. Implement automation solutions to streamline manual tasks and reduce errors.
   3. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to enhance overall operational efficiency.
5. Collaboration:
   1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to align replenishment strategies with overall business goals.
   2. Provide training and support to team members on BI and SQL tools.
6. Documentation:
   1. Maintain up-to-date documentation for future reference and training purposes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 4+ years proven experience in BI analysis and SQL query development.
• Python programming (preferred)
• Machine learning algorithms (preferred)
• Data visualization
• Data pipeline development and automation
• SQL and MS SQL databases
• Data cleaning and preprocessing
• Statistical analysis
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and replenishment strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
• Knowledge of VB and other legacy systems programming languages is a plus
