Main Purpose
Reporting to Marketing & E-commerce Director, Venchi APAC
Develop Venchi full product categories in APAC region, looking for sustainable growth and long-term client relationship
Strengthen product pillars and orchestrate new product launches using product, market and consumer expertise. Work closely with global and local teams across functionally to initiate Chocolate and Gelato activations and to develop category knowledge and culture within the organization
Contribute to Venchi product communication plan to develop brand / product awareness and elevate brand / product desirability in the market
This is a multi-faceted role spanning Product Marketing and Visual Merchandising for the entire Asia Pacific
Key Responsibilities
Propose and monitor marketing mix strategies to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences
Collect and analyze consumer and market insights and competition strategies to make recommendations
Implement new launches, maintain growth in pillar products and animate core collections
Initiate product focused campaigns and develop marketing mix strategies to elevate the Venchi product power in the region
Liaise and work closely with internal cross team locally and globally (retail, demand planning, CRM, digital and trade marketing, ecommerce, training, global product innovation / packaging and visual merchandising team, etc.) to ensure consistence and excellence of outputs, in line with project direction
Ensure optimal outputs in all product launches and renovations, elevating the storytelling on product superiority and craftsmanship, enhancing the brand presence with clear go-to market strategies
Responsible for overseeing given project performance, results & KPIs
Mobilize and work transversally to build broader business strategy
Make recommendations on the category based on consumer, market and competitors insights and expertise (launch analysis, strategic memo, etc.)
Be the Venchi product guardian, managing a smart mix of product 6Ps, include a clear price strategy to be in place
Product Planning, Forecasting and Operation Excellence
Manage close working relationships with Demand Planning and Operations team on forecasting and replenishment to ensure optimal product forecast accuracy across all touchpoints
Work closely with Commercial team to elevate consumer experience both offline and online
Put efforts to achieve a set of product focused operational excellence – product assortment, claim verification, BOM / codification, system landing. etc.
Visual Merchandising Capability
Develop Visual Merchandising strategy to ensure proper brand and product presence cross channels
Good quality control of VM include all campaigns / animations through close cooperation with global merchandising team, retail, trade marketing and training team, etc.
Build clear VM guideline and system to make sure store image cater to store design & marketing calendar
Cost and budget control
Contribute to Product Communication Plan
Contribute to develop market and consumer insights and work closely with global / local team to establish Venchi product content strategy
Ensure consistence of local produced product contents across all touchpoints
Work closely with global teams to ensure local insights well embedded with content creation
Competences
Bachelor’s degree or above, with minimum 8 years-experience in marketing field focusing on product marketing and category management
Big FMCG and Beauty brands with proven complex portfolio management and regional experience is preferred
