We are looking for a highly motivated Trade Marketing Manager Wholesale to join our HQ based in Milan!

Reporting to the Senior Omnichannel Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence in the Wholesale and Travel Retail channels.

This role will serve as a key hub in aligning and directing all of the critical cross-functional teams to deliver assortment, merchandising, programming and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a proper trade marketing strategy tailored to wholesale channels to increase product visibility, sales, market share and achieve budget.
  • Analyze wholesale channel performance, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize channel-specific marketing tactics.
  • Scout, manage and collaborate with external agencies to design dedicated displays and merchandising plans for Wholesale and Travel Retail, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
  • Develop visual merchandising guidelines based on product assortments, working closely with the Sales team to ensure consistency.
  • Oversee the execution of pop-ups and special activations, focusing on optimal design and space utilization.
  • Create a comprehensive Wholesale Marketing and promotional plan, aligned with Global Marketing guidelines, incorporating in-store experiences and tastings.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends within wholesale and travel retail channels.
  • Analyze sell-out data, including stock turnover, average ticket size, and best-sellers, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain the brand’s competitive edge in Wholesale and Travel Retail channels.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Over 7 years of experience in Trade Marketing, with a proven track record in driving market success.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
  • Based in the EMEA region but experienced in working on a global scale.
  • Highly analytical, with a strong passion for products and their market performance.
  • Effective communicator, skilled at engaging with stakeholders at all levels to clearly articulate Venchi's strategic vision.
  • Commercially astute, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to assess market trends, identify trade opportunities, and devise actionable plans.
  • Experienced in collaborating with external agencies to achieve business goals.
  • Expertise in travel retail and wholesale channels, understanding their unique dynamics.
