This position will be part of a national team, serving a broad litigation portfolio to assist with the management, preparation, and tracking of key legal documents.

This position can be located in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Seattle, Milwaukee or Phoenix. Remote and hybrid working arrangements are available for this position.

The Position

What You’ll Do

  • Perform intake of attorney requests to investigate, assemble, and draft legal documents in the area of civil litigation
  • Conduct investigations and research into evidentiary data and case-related information relevant to legal document drafting and assembly
  • Obtain and manage client documents, including electronic data, related to document assembly
  • Assist with the preparation and drafting of various legal documents
  • Maintain and organize evidentiary data and case-related information pursuant to best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation
  • Docket and track deadlines and action items

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate is required.
  • 2+ years litigation paralegal experience or project experience
  • Ability to exercise professionalism, integrity, and discretion with confidential and sensitive information is required
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team, have an acute attention to detail, and be able to multi-task and prioritize while working in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly developed skills in time and task management is required
  • Post-college level writing and oral communication skills
  • Proficiently in the use of Microsoft Office computerized business applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform legal document drafting, and assembly of supporting documentation, including but not limited to correspondence, pleadings, and/or written discovery
  • Experience with docketing and docketing software a plus
  • Proficiency in the use of computerized legal research and document retention databases for performance of fact and legal research a plus
  • Experience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems, including computer-assisted review technologies, a plus
