The Position
This is a temporary position, with the assignment expected to last until February 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet and income statement general ledger account reconciliations in Microsoft Excel
- Record journal entries.
- Perform account analysis including variance analysis and actual vs budget analysis.
- Review general ledger transactions and write brief description in preparation for transaction grouping and analysis
- Review general ledger transactions and performing reclassifications to correct any errors
- Prepare raw transaction data for clear and concise reporting based on firm standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with cash basis accounting and/or partnership accounting a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with managers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and Word.
